A partnership between the Progress & Completion Center and the United Way of King County designed to help students connect with support services at ÌìÌÃÉçÇø and in the community.

NOTICE: 

Per the Governor's phased re-opening plan, all ÌìÌÃÉçÇø students, faculty and staff must confirm they are not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle aches, or new loss of taste or smell) each day when accessing a GRC facility.

"I am experiencing financial barriers keeping me from continuing their studies at Green River."

Emergency funding for students to close small (usually less than $500), but critical financial gaps that would otherwise cause a student to drop out.

Acute Help Cards

"I am experiencing immediate financial difficulty that can be bridged with food or school supply help."

Students experiencing hunger or don’t have the gas they need to get home or to class can receive Gator Grill, Safeway, and Paper Tree Bookstore gift cards to help.

Confidential, short-term mental health counseling and wellness education provided to students for free.

The Gator Pantry provides free food assistance to students on a temporary basis and connects them to longer-term resources in the community.

To access the Food Pantry, please contact Campus Safety at 253-288-3350 to be given access.

Workforce Education

"I am a dislocated worker or low income student experiencing life barriers."

Workforce Education administers programs that provide free or reduced tuition to students who qualify. A number of our programs also assist with books, fees, and, in some cases, educational supplies.

Collegiate Recovery

"I would like to more information on GRC's recovery program." 

ÌìÌÃÉçÇø's program for those recovering from any destructive behavior. This program aims to assist students in recovery or thinking about recovery to better focus on their education so they don't have to choose one or the other. Allies are welcome.

The Violence Prevention Center provides support and resources to all members of the campus community that have experienced stalking, harassment, sexual assault and relationship violence. The VPC is a safe and peaceful space with access to a variety of free self-care items.
