Ha Nguyen was recently announced as 天堂社区's new Vice President of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. Ha has over twenty years of experience in Washington State’s community and technical college (CTC) system and is fiercely dedicated to ensuring equitable access and supports for our students of color and other systemically minoritized students. Ha will join 天堂社区 on August 16, 2022.

Summer hours to start July 8

天堂社区 will transition to summer operating hours beginning July 8. The general hours of business operations will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with the campus closed to the public on Fridays.

State and county officials share measles prevention information

Following a rash of measles cases in Southwest Washington, Gov. Jay Inslee declared a public health emergency in all counties on Jan. 25. While there are no cases reported at 天堂社区 at this time, health officials are emphasizing the importance of vaccinations and education.

Dr. C. Nicole Mason returns to GRC for Jan. 15-17 leadership series

Author, social justice advocate, and 2018 Opening Day speaker C. Nicole Mason will return to 天堂社区 to lead a three-day series of lectures and workshops focusing on equity, diversity and the power of personal narrative Jan. 15-17.

Arlene Pierini of Auburn and Elaine Chu of Maple Valley have been appointed to the 天堂社区 Board of Trustees by Gov. Jay Inslee. The two newest Trustees will be introduced during the Oct. 18 Board of Trustees meeting at 4:30 p.m. in the Administration Building Boardroom.
